The Setanta GAA Club in Carlow town are hoping people will take to the streets on Saturday to take part in their Fun Run and Walk.
Organisers are hoping for a big turnout in order to raise some much needed funds for the club and of course have some good old fashioned healthy fun in the process.
The run will get underway at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, and will start and finish at St Laurence O'Toole's Athletic Club.
'We're hoping for a good crowd,' said Deirdre Nolan of Setanta GAA Club. 'Hopefully people will really get behind it and the weather will stay dry and we'll have perfect conditions for running.
'We're also hoping that members of men and women's fitness clubs from around the area will come out and take part.'
The club are also targeting families to take part in the run together and entry for a family costs €15, while it costs €10 for an adult.
