RATHWOOD ARE delighted to be holding their annual Santa Fun Run in aid of local children's charities on Sunday, November 11 at 12 noon.It is a chance to get social, have fun and be part of a unique way to spend a brisk November morning. The 3km run (or walk) will take place around the forest at Rathwood with complimentary tea/coffee for all participants. One of the charities to benefit from this year's proceeds will be 'Sama's Second Skin'. Sama is a local Carlow boy who was born with Bullous Congenital Ichthyosiform Erythroderma and this causes his skin to grow at 200% the rate of ours causing severe itching, scabs and pain.
