Carlow man Eamonn Treacy was celebrating this weekend as he managed to secure a bronze medal at the World Ploughing Championships in Canada.
Eamonn was one of two Irish medal winners, with Wexford's John Whelan taking gold at the reversible ploughing competition.
Eamonn secured his bronze medal in the conventional ploughing competition, having been awarded an impressive mark of 185 for his efforts. Eamonn will arrive home to Dublin airport on Tuesday where he is sure to receive a hero's welcome from friends and family.
