Carlow Local Authorities Arts Office are offering transition year students from Borris Vocational School the opportunity to work with a renowned composer. Linda Buckley, composer and lecturer at Trinity College Dublin, will work with the students at Borris Vocational School in order to devise a new work in response to Jane Cardiff's Forty Part Motet.

The group will work on developing their compositional skills by exploring themes of space, imitation, text, layering of sound, harmony, equality of parts, visualization, emotion and the senses.
