The ÉIRE Óg Lotto winning numbers for Monday, March 31 were 3, 8, 12 and 13. There was no jackpot Winner. There were three Match 3 winners who each received €50 – Niamh and John Bassi, Michael c/o Marion Brennan and "Nice One" c/o Tony Noctor.

Our jackpot now stands at €3,350. Next week's Match 3 will win or share €150. Tickets may be purchased from the Club, Flower Shop Fairgreen, and Riverside Stores in Hanover. The draw takes place every Monday night in Teach Asca at 9.00pm.

Congratulations to their U14s who won the Féile Final last Sunday in Fenagh. They will now represent Eire Óg in the Féile games which will be held in Mayo. Juvenile training has commenced on Saturday mornings in Pairc Uí Bhriain starting at 11am. All newcomers welcome. Bingo is every Thursday night starting at 8.30pm. Live music every Saturday night in the lounge with no cover charge.


The Carlow Lions Club has been in operation for 37 years. Their Charter Ball is held each year to celebrate the work carried out by volunteers in the community and will take place on April 11thin the Seven Oaks hotel. This includes a drinks reception on arrival, a four course meal and live music into the night. Tickets are €50 each or €450 for a table of 10 by calling 087-6762154.

A NEW COURSE is starting in the "Crisp Centre" on 'Presentation and Communication Skills'. It starts on Thursday, April 24, at 7pm, in CRISP Castle Hill, Carlow. It is a four-week course lasting two hours for each session and costs only €80. Contact 059 9143972.

The Easter Art Camp is back at Cracker Jacks Superquinn from Monday 14 to Thursday April 17. from 10am to 2pm. Early drop off from 9am. Celebrating Brian Boru, we will replicate the Life of the High King of Ireland. Day 1 – battle banners and shields, Day 2 - clay dwellings and arty artifacts, Day 3 - Book of Kells with a modern twist!, Day 4 - kings' crowns, fire torches, ornate jewellery and costumes. €10 per day. ASKEA: Congratulations to Aoife Healy who came second in the recitation at the County Talent Show and well done to Jasmine Brennan Dowling, Katie Brennan Nolan and Emily Mahon who competed in the Solo Singing. Friday, April 11, no walk due to Relay for Life Fundraising Table Quiz in Talbot Hotel @ 8 p.m. On Saturday, April 12, Pauline (086) 3906210 will lead and easy/medium walk around The Kyle Loop. Please text Pauline beforehand if you intend to go. They are meeting at the town square in Tullow beside Tullow Pharmacy at 9.30 a.m and heading to Tinahely where the walk starts. Anti-pylon march

a National Anti Pylon March will take palce next Tuesday, April 15 at 11.30 am, Parnell Square to Dáil Éireann. Carlow Opposing Pylons 4 U,(COP4U) representing all local Carlow Anti-Pylon groups encourage you and your family, children to attend the March and unite with communities from across the country, showing Dail Eireann how we oppose the Grid-link/Grid 25 proposals.


A Fun table quiz in aid of the Irish Cancer Society and Relay for Life Carlow takes place in Carpenters Lounge on Friday, April 11, at 8pm. €10 pp.

Active retired meet

Dragon Boat Club
