As the year draws to a close and all our games completed we now take stock and look back at the year that was so Kildavin / Clonegal G.A.A. Club will hold its Annual General Meeting on Friday 7th December at 7.45 p.m. in Spellman Park. All Club members, committee members and players are expected to attend this important meeting.
Kildavin ICA held its AGM recently, President; Joan Gibson, Secretary; Kathleen Rothwell, Treasurer; Bridget Murphy, PRO; Kathleen Rothwell were re-elected for another year. The winner of the Liz Ryan cup was Kathleen Rothwell and the guild person of the year went to Phil Dunne.
The guild has had very interesting speakers at recent meetings from the Gardaí on home safety. Evelyn Porter was on flower arrangements and each member did an arrangement, Margaret Harrington gave a display on sewing and at the last meeting.
The Bunclody credit union gave a very interesting and detailed talk on saving with the credit union, ICA would like to thank the speakers for their talks. Our next guild meeting will be our Christmas night out.

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION
A big thank you to all those who supported the Church Gate Collection recently. A sum of €142 was raised in aid of Clonegal N.S. and the Autism Unit. Your support was greatly appreciated.
The St. Fiaac's Church Annual Sale will be held this Friday 30th November in the Ben Mulhall Memorial Park Complex, Clonegal, at 7pm. There will be a draw for a raffle, the usual Stalls and tea. All are welcome.
The Kildavin/Clonegal GAA lotto was held in Conway's Lounge, Kildavin on Sunday 18th November. Numbers drawn were 4, 17, 24 and 27. There was no winner of the jackpot of €10,000.
Winners that matched three were, Brian Plunkett, Clonegal, May Henrick, Bunclody, David Corrigan, Mrs Cowman, Bunclody, Lilly Byrne Bunclody and Sam Rothwel, all receiving €25 each. Seller's prize goes to Wayne Austin receiving €50. Attendance draw goes to Rose Sheil, Paul Nolan and Cora Coleman. The next draw will take place in Dunne's Lounge, Clonegal on Sunday 2nd December.
This is the last week of the Penny bank collection. All books will be collect by committee members on Saturday 1st December; you may wish to save on that night as usual. All cheque's will be handed out the following week on Saturday 8th December in the Dunne's Lounge, Clonegal at 8.00pm.
