SHOE BOX APPEAL

There was no winner of the recent lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 03, 04, 13 and 16. The four lucky dip winners were Jack Farrell, Tony Walsh, Mary Fleming and Jim Shanahan, each will receive €25. The seller's prize of €25 was won by Eugene O Rourke. The jackpot now stands at €6,700 and tickets can be purchased for €2 from any club member or from the local shop and public houses.
Graiguecullen Community Games are holding their AGM on this Tuesday November 6 at 8pm in GAA meeting rooms. Training for team events starting Friday November 9 in St Fiacc's Hall and costs €1 per child. 5 to 6pm; Under 11 Boys and Girls Indoor Soccer and Basketball. 6 to 7pm; Under 13's Girls Basketball and Indoor Soccer. NOVEMBER DEAD LIST
The names of the faithful departed who parishioners would like remembered and prayed for during November can be handed into the parish office or placed in the November Sacred Space. A sheet and envelope are provided in the box of church envelopes and all loved ones who have died will be remembered at all our Masses during November.
A special family Mass will be celebrated in St Clare's on the first Sunday of each month at 11.30am. We see this Mass as an opportunity for families to worship together and to get more involved. St Clare's children's choir will sing at the Mass and we will be looking for different families to participate.
YOUNG PRIEST SOCIETY
The next meeting of St Joseph's Young Priests Society will be held on this Wednesday November 7 at 8pm in the Parish centre.
Children's Liturgy of the Word takes place on each Sunday at the 11.30am Mass in St Clare's. We invite all children between four years and first class to join us for our Sunday school. Our aim is to introduce the children to the Mass by taking part in activities appropriate to their age. These activities will take place in the parish centre and will be supervised by adults and students from our second level schools.
Each Wednesday from 10.30am to 2pm in the Oratory in St Fiacc's House. If you would like to give some time to pray before the Blessed Sacrament please sign the book which is placed in the Oratory. All welcome.
A Training Course for new young Eucharistic Ministers begins on Thursday November 8 from 4.30pm to 5.30pm and will run for four weeks in the Parish Centre. Senior cycle secondary school students and upwards are welcome for attend.
RAINBOWS PEER SUPPORT
Rainbows Peer Support Programme for school going children. Anyone interested in starting the Rainbows Programme beginning in November in Graiguecullen Parish Centre please complete application form and return immediately to the Parish office. Anyone who would like to reflect on the Sunday readings is invited to a half hour meeting each Wednesday at 7.30pm in the Parish Centre. A special invitation to all who will be reading the Word of God at Mass on Sunday. This is an opportunity for people to enhance their participation in their celebration of Mass each Sunday.
