Easter sports camp
YOU are invited to join a fun active multi-sports Easter Camp, which provides a wide variety of activities and sports to keep kids entertained during the Easter break.
The camp will run from Tuesday April 22 to Friday, April 25 in the McGrath Hall, Bagenalstown, from 10am to 2.30pm.
All programmes are age appropriate and are a great foundation for any sport, teaching children the fundamentals of exercise – strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, agility and co-ordination in a safe and fun environment.
Appropriate fun high energetic activities are provided for camp age groups 3-4 years 5-8 years and 9-12 years.
Activities include: tumbling and gymnastic obstacle circuits using Fitkids specialised equipment, soccer, tag-rugby, tennis, basketball, dodgeball, active running and relay games, parachute games, arts and crafts and Easter egg hunt. Sweep away library fines
County Carlow library services are inviting the people of County Carlow to make a Clean Sweep of library fines during National Spring Clean during April and is encouraging all to return outstanding library books fine free.
ll be provided in the libraries for you to leave outstanding books, CDs and DVDs during the month of April. It will hopefully encourage patrons to rediscover the pleasures in their local library, which include free access to books, online resources and weekly activities.
So gather those oldies...from the dusty dark corners and drop them into any of the four branches in Muinebheag, Borris, Tullow or Carlow.

Easter Baking With Oonagh Barrett at Bagenalstown FRC. The County Carlow Women's Network are holding an Easter Baking Demonstration at Bagenalstown family Resource Centre.
It is being hosted by the lovely Oonagh Barrett (semi-finalist on The Great Irish Bake Off). It is being held on Monday, April 14, from 7pm-10pm and the cost if €10. All welcome. However, places are limited and you need to book your place by April 1.
