Climb Kilimanjaro for Childline

Published 10/06/2014 | 05:24

Carlow adventurers are being sought to climb Africa's highest peak in order to raise vital funds for Childline.

In February of next year, a group of Childline supporters will scale Kilimanjaro in a bid to raise funds for this worthy cause and people from Carlow are being asked to join in and make the 4,633 mile trip themselves and join the adventure of a lifetime.

'Do you think you have what it takes to climb Africa's Highest Mountain? We are asking the people of Carlow to challenge themselves with this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to save a vital service for Irish children while experiencing one of the world's most spectacular natural wonders,' said Emma Hayden, Community Fundraiser at the ISPCC.
