County Carlow Youth Theatre is delighted to return with another term of workshops beginning on September 15. The workshops are aimed at young enthusiastic people who want to learn more about theatre making and the dramatic arts.

The group meets weekly in Carlow Town Hall on Monday evenings and caters for two different age groups – 12- to 14-year-olds from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and 15- to 18-year-olds from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Members get the opportunity to explore and develop their own creative talents with fellow like minded young people. The leaders of the youth theatre Eimear Cheasty and Sile Penkert are both highly qualified and experienced and are more than happy to answer queries at or on Facebook.

To register for the workshops, simply drop into the Carlow Regional Youth Services office at Montgomery House on the Athy road. The fee is €40 and covers 10 workshops. Registration will open on September 1 and run until September 12 only.
