SCIENCE projects, artwork and photographs were proudly displayed around Leighlinbridge NS when parents were invited along to an open evening and science exhibition.

Children from the different classes gave demonstrations of their homemade volcanoes, balance projects and more when everyone dropped by to visit and celebrate the life of the school.

The infant classes brought visitors out to their courtyard garden where they have sewn vegetables and flowers and everyone was invited along to see that new classroom that opened this year.

'It went great, a large crowd came along,' said principal John Threadgold.

'I would just like to thank all of the pupils and teachers for their hard work.'

Anyone wishing to enrol their child in the school for the coming years should contact (059) 9721796.
