On Saturday, May 5, at 5pm, Field Marshall tractors will take to the road for a short run around town. They will remain on working display for the entire weekend. As any self-respecting fan of vintage tractors will tell you the Field Marshall is a rare specimen with only a handful in the country.

On Saturday at 2pm, the Tractor Nuts Festival is hosting a speed dating walk calling all single men and women! Enjoy a leisurely, scenic walk along the Barrow line while also meeting and chatting to other single people.

Entertainment and craic with an 'oil up' and traffic light party in the Green Drake Inn, 9pm All who have attended in the past know the drill - Wear Red if you're ' Taken', Orange or Yellow if you fit into the ' Try Me' category and Green if its 'Your Place or Mine?'.

Sunday May 6th sees the Lads and Lassies Tractor Run roll out around midday for a nice spin over Mt Leinster. A large crowd is expected for a fun packed weekend with many tractor enthusiasts showcasing a variety of pre 1990 tractors of differing ages - Massey's, Ford's, Nuffield's, John Deere's, many of which are restored back to their original condition and are a credit to their owners. Cars, trucks, vans and push bikes all welcome.

At 4.30pm that afternoon a barbeque, pig roasting, working display, music and lots of entertainment will take place in the Step House Hotel. So, mark your diary, get your sponsorship card organised and join all the other Tractor Nuts and Nutettes for what promises to be one of the best years ever!
