One of Carlow's most stylish ladies dressed to impress at the races yet again.

Fashion and style consultant Faith Amond from Milford was a finalist in this year's Hennessy Gold Cup Best Dressed Lady competition. Heads turned for Faith who impressed the judges with her Design Centre Cape and chic Valentino skirt.

Faith completed the look and get it local with an Elaine Curtis jacket and a black headpiece with snakeskin detailing, which she borrowed from a friend.

Faith Almond is a legend in her home county as she not only hires out all manner of accessories but also provides a consultation service.

The overall winner on the day was Marisa Cheah from County Fermanagh who was announced in front of a huge crowd at the Hennessy Best Dressed Lady marquee and was presented with a voucher for €7,000 to spend in Design Centre, as well as a bottle of Hennessy X.O. Magnificence.

Marissa impressed judges, Irish handbag designer Pauric Sweeney, Ashling Kilduff from Design Centre and Caroline Sleiman from Moet Hennessy with her stunning hat, dress and fur shawl all from local boutiques in Banbridge.

She completed the look with a show stopping hat from Heaven Boutique and matching accessories, which she borrowed from her mother.
