Plenty of craic to enjoy in Rathoe

There was plenty of ceol agus craic as a total of thirty musicians and nearly 160 entertainers and supporters turned up the the Rathoe Song and Story night recently.
Fear an Ti, Seamus Dowling and his wife Gretta organised a tribute to their late friend Dermot Curran and it was a night he would have been proud of.
John Candy took to the stage to recite a tribute to Dermot which he composed himself and it went down a treat with the assembled audience.
Speaking on the success of the night, Seamus Dowling said, 'I wish to express my sincere thanks to all who contributed in any way to making the night such a huge success.'
Song and Story Night in Rathoe is held on the fourth Sunday of each month and the next meeting will celebrate its 10 year anniversary.
