Carlow Library Service and Visual have joined forces to promote the best selling novel and the stage adaptation 'Tuesdays with Morrie'.
Tuesdays with Morrie, written for the stage by Mitch Albom and Jeffrey Hatcher, is the autobiographical story of Mitch Albom, an accomplished journalist driven solely by his career, and Morrie Schwartz, his former college professor. It is a heartwarming exploration of friendship and life.
'We are delighted to collaborate with Carlow Central library to incite interest in reading or re-reading this remarkable and touching book and hope people will be encouraged to come and see the wonderful stage production at the George Bernard Shaw Theatre on April 26 and 27,' said Joan Crowley from Visual.
The critics have been lavish in their praise of this production and it runs @ the Visual Centre for Contemporary Arts and the George Bernard Shaw Theatre on these dates.
Tuesdays with Morrie displays will be running across the library network in Borris, Muinebheag, Tullow and Carlow Central Library.
