Caroline releases new charity EP 'River to Sea'

A HACKETSTOWN woman has recorded an EP with sean nós-style singing for charity.

Caroline Hosey has recorded the EP in order to raise funds for the charity DEBRA Ireland.

She joined the cream of Ireland's traditional musicians as part of a musical collective called River to Sea. The EP, called River to Sea with Caroline Hosey, was recorded with and produced by renowned traditional musician Francie Conway and features four songs in the old Irish traditional singing, a welcome addition to the collection of any lover of traditional Irish music.

Launched at a River to Sea concert at St John's Theatre in Listowel, Caroline sang the songs from the EP on the night with backing from the River to Sea Musical Collective. The River to Sea EP can be downloaded from itunes, spotify, amazon.co.uk, mp3, play.com, napster, last fm, WE 7.
