Calling the class of 1964, the last class of pupils to attend the old Boy's School on School Lane before transferring to the new school on the Bagenalstown Road, to an event to mark the return and reinstatement of the plaque which dates the building to the year 1729.

The plaque which was originally on the building was taken off at some stage and placed on another building nearby. When that building was demolished in the 1950s the plaque was taken away and was thought lost until quite recently. The plaque will be reinstated by Mr Michael Somers, the last principal of the school on Saturday, 25th May, 2013 at 5pm.

Martin Nevin will relate the history of the building and the intriguing story behind the return of the plaque. The event will be concluded with a photo call of the class and their teacher forty nine years on.
