THERE ARE two big games this weekend at Bridgewater Centre Park as the U-12 and U-13 Wicklow County Squads take on Wexford in the SFAI Leinster Inter-League Tournament.
The first game kicks-off at 11.30am on Saturday (January 26) with the U-12 boys facing a strong Wexford outfit while the second fixture, involving the U-13 team, follows immediately after at 1pm.
The U-12 squad, under the management of Declan Strahan, played their first game in the U-12 Jim Cashin Cup on December 15 2012 at Greystones and were unlucky to narrowly lose out to the NDSL by a single goal. Karl Brauner and his U-13 squad also played the NDSL on the same day in the U13 Euro Tab Cup and secured a 1-1 draw with the North Dublin Schoolboys League.
Arklow Town FC has a very strong representation on both squads with Sean Crowley, Joshua Mills, Eoin O'Neill, Thomas Lynch, Daniel Bruce, Jack O'Reilly, Callum Randall, Liam Moore and Ben Fennell on the U-12 squad while Tom Murphy, David Kealy, Richard O'Toole, Darragh Walker, Liam Coleman, Matthew Dempsey, Conor Breslin, Kian Bolger, Andrew Maher, Nathan Cullen, Shane Keenan, Jack Healy, Tom Somers and Finn Fortune on the U-13s.
