United join Saints

ST. ANTHONY'S has some unwanted company at the top of the table in form of Shillelagh United.

The Ballard side rose to the summit of the top flight this week courtesy of a 1-4 thumping dished out to Enniskerry YC at Berryfield Lane.

The hosts were unable to prevent themselves from sliding to their eighth defeat of the season as strikes from PJ Mulhall, Martin Kelly and former county footballer Don Jackman.

United trail St. Anthony's on goal difference but have played two more games than the Kilcoole outfit.
