Enniskerry's Aine O'Gorman followed in the footsteps of Katie Taylor and Rachel Jenkins by making her Senior debut for the Republic of Ireland Ladies team last week.
Previously an unused substitute as the in the 1-0 win over Portugal and the scoreless draw with Mexico earlier this month which saw the girls in Green reach the knock-out stages of the Algarve Cup, the 16-year-old came on as a second half substitute in the 4-0 loss to Denmark on Wednesday March 15.
The Irish panel are due to face Switzerland in a World Cup qualifier on Wednesday March 23.
Elsewhere, Bray teenager Corie Treacy of Cherry Orchard was selected in the Republic of Ireland under-17 squad to face Israel, Romania and Serbia and Montenegro for the UEFA Championships Elite phase which will be held in Dublin next week.
The Carlisle Grounds will host two games in the competition.
Serbia and Montenegro will meet Israel by the seaside on Monday March 27 at 2.30 p.m. while Romania and Israel will square off at Bray Wanderers home turf on Friday March 31 at 7.00 p.m.
The winner of the group will secure a place at the final tournament to be held in Luxembourg in May.
