WHAT A great sight it was last Thursday night to see one of our own, Jack Conan, make his debut for Leinster rugby.

Jack went to Kilmacanogue NS and played both Gaelic football for Kilmacanogue and soccer for Glencormac United FC and was always an extremely popular and likeable young man.

He turned in a man of the match performance v Cardiff Blues in the RaboDirect Pro 12 league where "Jacko" got the opening try after just four minutes in a 34-22 victory.

Well done Jack, we are all delighted for you and hopefully in the coming years we will see you in the green shirt of Ireland also. But no rush, sure you're only 21!
