PHILIP O'Toole's father Brendan has made an emotional plea for his son's safe return.
A native of Thornhill View in Bray, Philip has not been seen since leaving his Arklow home on Monday January 7 at around 5.10 p.m.
'His mother is very upset; we're all very worried said Brendan, who lives in Cois Cairn.
Detective Inspector Frank Keeneghan said that the gardai and the family have 'serious concerns' for Philip's safety. It was his 33rd birthday on Monday.
'His mum Irene, sister Lorraine and girlfriend Jennifer are just breaking their hearts. Philip has a seven-month-old son and he should be with his dad,' said Brendan.
'He used to phone his mum every day and we're just waiting by the phone hoping someone will tell us where he is.
' These last two weeks have been a nightmare and I just want the public to help us find my son. We just want someone to end our pain.'
His car was found on the Lower Dargle Road the night after his disappearance. He was driving a blue BMW with the registration 99-D-82211.
Philip is 5' 7" in height, of medium build and with short brown hair. Contact Bray Garda Station 016665300 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
