Crowley Carbon signs on dotted line with Emrill
Enniskerry-based Energy Services firm Crowley Carbon has signed a significant deal with facilities management company Emrill, to deploy its Carbon Control Centre technology in 800 building under Emrill management which will result in the establishment of an office in Dubai and further job creation.
The company will monitor the energy usage in each from its Irish headquarters in Enniskerry. The announcement was made during the Enterprise Ireland Trade and Investment Mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE.
Following the announcement Deputy Andrew Doyle congratulated Carbon Crowley on the contract win.
'Carbon is another example of our ability to perform on the international stage and the need that global markets have for our products and services and our ability to win contracts. Headquartered in EnnisKerry and with offices in London and Sydney their service offerings will improve energy efficiency in the Emrill buildings using its 80-strong range of products for energy, lighting, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning.'
Crowley Carbon – established in 2009 by entrepreneur Norman Crowley – expects to open a Dubai office in 2014, as well employ a further 20 staff in Ireland as a result of the Emrill partnership.

Speaking on the trade mission, Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton TD said: 'I am delighted to welcome this announcement from Crowley Carbon that it has signed a major contract and is opening an office in Dubai. As part of our Action Plan for Jobs we have targeted support for exporting companies in the green energy sector and this announcement shows what is possible in this area.
