Bray Dart suspended as tree damaged lines

Published 23/01/2013 | 13:51

THERE was no Dart service out of Bray last Friday morning due to a tree on the line.

Services were suspended between Bray and Dun Laoghaire from the previous night when the tree fell at Dalkey causing damage to overhead lines.

A tree surgeon worked on the matter throughout the morning, removing the first tree. Another one in the area was deemed to be at risk of falling and was felled on Friday.

Irish Rail provided bus transfers for commuter services throughout the morning. Normal service resumed by lunchtime.
