Bay2bray runners return breathless but unbowed

A TEAM of tired and weary runners made a triumphant return to Bray on Bank Holiday Sunday following the mammoth Bay2Bray challenge.
Runners Damien Lawless, Joe King, Aishling Growney and Jason Matthews took on the challenging run from Galway to Bray in aid of Suicide or Survive (SOS).
Following the end of their three day run from Galway to Bray there was a family fun day and evening of entertainment at the Martello Hotel.
The team started their 247km run on Salthill Strand, Galway on October 26 returning to Bray on October 28 travelling via Athlone and Maynooth to Bray.
Unfortunately for runner Joe King tragedy struck along the route and sustained a suspected stress fracture in his foot leaving him unable to physically complete the run.
