Arrests will be made in student attack
GARDAÍ IDENTIFY SUSPECTS
GARDAÍ HAVE identified suspects whom they believe inflicted a savage beating on Mexican students in Bray recently.
The attack occurred when the three young men were walking home from a friend's house along the Boghall Road in the early hours of the morning.
One youth was kicked unconscious, another badly bruised around the face and neck, while the third man received a blow to the head.
Detective Inspector Frank Keeneghan of Bray Garda Station said that gardaí expect to make arrests in the matter 'shortly.'
Meanwhile, gardaí have recovered the iPhone of another student, taken as he walked past a house in Wolfe Tone with friends.
A woman came out of the house and asked if she could use the young man's phone. Other people then came out of the house and the phone was ultimately taken.
A number of arrests have already been made in that case.
