The 2012 panel of players consisted of a number of Septuagenarians including Harry Brady, Jim O Shea, David Jordan, George Carville, Pat Murphy, Paddy O'Donoghue, Dave Smith and John Swaine.
In the first round they defeated Killiney GC in Killiney. This was followed by a hard fought victory over Milltown GC in Woodbrook.
In the four team final Woodbrook beat the hosts Old Conna, the pre-match favourites Stackstown and Edmondstown.
At a reception in the Woodbrook clubhouse for the victorious team a presentation was made to the manager Kevin Meehan by the Woodbrook GC Captain Kieran Murphy. Kevin is stepping down after a very successful stint as Team Manager.
