30 PEOPLE attended Bray Partnership's latest safeTALK suicide awareness training session, facilitated by Collette Ryan of HeadsUp. Due to high demand, they are running a further course in the new year.

The training is open to anybody in the community who wants to help prevent suicide and is prepared to become 'suicide alert'.

They want to encourage individuals from the local community and also from community groups or companies where you may come into regular contact with people (for example pubs) to consider attending - the more people in the local community who have this training the more effective it will be. If you think you may be interested in doing this course in the new year, or you just want to find out more, contact Eileen at the Partnership on (01) 2868266 or email eileen@brayareapartnership.ie.
