Stepping it out in Greystones
AROUND 50 groups and business will be participating in the Greystones parade this year, with marching bands coming from Germany, Tallaght and the UK.
Bray Concert Band will be on a reviewing stand at the train station prior to the parade, which starts at 12 midday.
There will also be a stand and commentary at St. Patrick's Church and the parade is expected to last around one hour. Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team will be among the groups taking part. The parade will start at the South Beach car park and go through the town along Church Road to Victoria Road. There will be plaques awarded in the various different categories. Categories include sports, best traditional entry, most original entry, best uniformed organisation and more.
