ONLY one Glencormac team was in action last weekend as the other games were called off.

The U8s was cancelled v Wolfe Tone but the U9s game went ahead at home to Arklow Town. In a tight first half, glens conceded a very soft goal after bad marking from a throwin and this was the difference at the break. They did however try really hard to get an equaliser when first Kieren Griffith shot narrowly wide after a great run and then a superb John Fox effort rebounded off the crossbar. Arklow Town then hit them with the killer second goal to seal a 2-0 win. Dylan Henry, John Fox and Mickey Doyle were best on the day in a good all-round team performance. The 12s game in Kilcoole was also off while the seniors game v local rivals Roundwood at home on Sunday afternoon fill victim to the rain ten minutes before kick-off.
