Santa made a surprise visit to the Design Centre in Bray last Thursday. He wanted check up on his elves who have been busy setting up his grotto for the Christmas in Bray Santa Experience.
Even though he was extremely busy, he took a break from making toys as he wanted to ensure his elves have been doing a good job in preparing his grotto in Bray this year.
Santa said he was looking forward to meeting all the good little boys and girls from Bray this December and Mrs Claus is looking forward to reading her Christmas stories.
He sent a special thanks to Bray & District Chamber President Rory Benville for helping his elves turn the Design Centre into a magical winter wonderland.
The Christmas in Bray's Santa Experience will run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from December 6 to 22.
Tickets are €8 per child or family tickets are €20 (max of four children). The Santa Experience will last approximately 30 minutes and will include story telling from Mrs Claus, a reindeer dust workshop by the Elves and of course a visit with the man himself where your child will receive their gift. To book your child's place go to www.christmasinbray.com.
The big Christmas Lights Switch-On will take place this Saturday November 23 at the Civic Plaza. Entertainment will start at 4.30p.m. with Bray Modernettes and St. Cronan's School Choir, Santa and one lucky winner will then switch-on Bray's Christmas Lights at 5.30 p.m.
Parents are reminded that instead of a lantern parade this year, there will be a Lantern Display. Children are asked to make their lanterns at home and bring them down to the Civic Plaza where they will then receive their tea lights and a ticket to be in with a chance to turn on the lights with Santa.
