GET VOCAL GROUP: Best of luck to the Get Vocal Group, Molly, Tony, May, Bridie, Betty, Pat, Mary, Aine & Christy, our Active Retirement members as they partake in "Rain Falling Up" a modern Orchestral, Choral and Visual Spectacle for children and Gravity Defying Adults in the Convention Centre in Dublin on Saturday 10th November at 12 noon and 5pm.
The RTE Symphony Orchestra along with a 500 strong chorus of children and older people will be performing and the event will be narrated by Pauline McLynn. COMMUNITY COUNCIL
RDCC are holding their AGM on Monday 12th November at 8pm in the Old School. The council would like to welcome everyone to this meeting. It is an opportunity for anyone who has new ideas or suggestions that might benefit our community to come along. CABARET

Tim Pat Coogan, Historian & Author will officially launch Roundwood Historical Society's 23rd Journal on Saturday 17th November at 7.30pm in The Parish Hall, Roundwood. There will be a five day tour of the Cotswold, Oxford and Bath on the 10th June 2013, visiting The Cotswolds, Burton-on-the-water, the Roman Baths in Bath, Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and Botanic Gardens. The A.G.M. of the Roundwood Community Games will be held on Thursday 8th November in Aras An Tochair at 9pm. We would love to see some new faces on the Committee this year. Lowest Score: Mary Jo O'Malley and Longest Sitting: Mary Cullen. Raffle prizes were won by May Kenna, Biddy O'Connor, Mary Cullen, Ann Pierce & Pat Fisher. Our Annual Parish Sale of Work takes place on Sunday 2nd December from 12 noon to 4pm in the GAA Sports Complex. Donations for our Christmas Sale of Work will be accepted at our Parish Office Monday to Friday 9.30-12.30 daily from Monday 5th November.
We would really appreciate donations of Bottles for the Bottle stall, Old games and toys (no soft) books, bits and bobs, unwanted gifts and household items which are clean, complete and in perfect working order. The next meeting will be on Saturday 10th November after 6.30pm mass. DANCE DATES
