THE PARISH Hall in Kilmacanogue looked more like the famous Gaiety theatre on Friday and Saturday night when the young stars of the Kilmac Drama Group took to the stage.
They hosted two plays "Alice in Wonderland, and the Killer Gangster Rabbits" from the senior drama group (ages 12-16) and "Mr. Cheviot and the Three Little Hoods" from the junior group (ages 8-11).
The play "Alice" was written especially for the senior group by Anna Sherratt, and is also being performed by Kilmac Drama in The Bray One Act competition in The Mermaid on the 31st January.
The junior group performed "Mr. Cheviot" which was both written and starred a cast made up of Katie Greene, Hannah Hind, Sean Tighe, Dylan Henry, Emma Prendergast, Lucy Rampersaud, Jasper Brezina-Coniffe, Conal Tighe, Abi Blackbyrne, Cara Giles, Eimear O Brien, Catherine Henry and Muireann Tighe.
Well done to everyone involved in the production which was thoroughly enjoyed by all and a just reward to everyone who put so much effort into the 2 nights after hours and hours of rehearsals.
