SOME members of Ashford Children's Choir visited Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children just before Christmas to deliver the many presents they raised through their 'Bring a Gift Carol Service.'

The service was held on Friday December 16 in Ashford.

The presents were presented to the Director of Nursing, Conal Mcrichards, and to the delight of the choir they met celebrities such as Daihi O Shea, Lorraine Keane, Brendan O Carroll , Rob Kearney, up and coming Leinster player Reece Rudder and County Wicklow's own Shane Byrne. They also gigged with Micky Joe Harte singing Christmas Carols while he accompanied them on his guitar as part of a promotional video for the Hospital.

The Choir then went on to entertain both Staff and Patients of the Hospital when they performed Some Christmas Carol Singing around the hospital.

After all this the choir were treated to a guided tour of some of the operating areas of the hospital which they found fascinating. The members of Ashford Children's choir have already been asked to come back next year.
