Services of Worship for this Sunday - The 3rd Sunday Before Advent: Services for this Sunday are 8.30am Holy Communion 2 & 11am Morning Prayer with Act of Remembrance.

This Year's Remembrance Festival: For the past number of years Christ Church Bray has been marking the season of Remembrance for those who died in the World Wars of the 20th century. This culminated last year in our wonderful ' We Will Remember Them ' Flower Festival which included the names and details of the 168 men from Bray who died in World War 1.

While this year's Festival from today (Wednesday) to Sunday is on a much simpler level, we will continue to develop these stories through pictures, memorabilia and story boards. The church will be open daily from 10am to 4pm - admission is free.

On Saturday we are holding a special Evening of Remembrance and Storytelling. These will include stories and letters, Enniskerry Gospel Choir, and Justin Alymer giving brief renditions of the speeches from Winston Churchill. This evening will run from 7pm to 10pm in Christ Church Bray and all are welcome. Admission free.

Classics by Candlelight: Christ Church Bray presents Classics by Candlelight - Music for string quartet - in Christ Church Bray, at 7pm on Sunday December 2nd. Tickets are €10 / €8 Concessions and includes mince pies and a glass of mulled wine. Delicious homemade Christmas fare will also be available for purchase. For tickets call 01- 286 2968. Beetle Drive: Last month the Beetle Drive held in St. Andrew's National School was great success and a fun night was had by all with some €300 bring raised.

Concert in St. Patrick's Church, Dalkey: On Wednesday November 14th the CADENZA String Quintet will give a concert in St. Patrick's Church, Dalkey, at 8pm in aid of Breadline Africa. The Regular Prayer Opportunities: Prayer Group: Side Chapel each Monday at 8pm; Bray Gathering Charismatic Prayer Group: Little Flower Hall Wednesday at 8pm; Adoration followed by Benediction on Thursdays after 7pm Mass until 8pm ; Silent Holy Hour in the Side Chapel from 11a.m. to 12 Noon each Friday morning.

Weekday Mass Times from December 3rd. It is proposed that, as and from Monday December 3rd, the daily morning Masses Monday to Saturday will be at the following times - St. Fergal's, Ballywaltrim - 9.30am; Holy Redeemer - 10am; St. Mary's Enniskerry - 10.15am; Our Lady Queen of Peace - 10.30am ; St. Peters, Little Bray - 11am.

Ministers of the Eucharist and Word: We are currently looking for new Ministers for all Masses. If you are interested in training to be either Minister of the Eucharist or Word, please give your name and contact details to the sacristy or parish office.

Training for new Ministers of the Eucharist: This takes place on Thursday November 22nd at 8pm in the Coffee Dock. Details of training Ministers of the Word to follow.

Meeting for Ministers of the Eucharist: A meeting for all Ministers of the Eucharist in the Bray and Enniskerry Pastoral Area will take place at 8pm on Thursday November 29th in St. Peter's Church, Little, Bray.

Holy Redeemer Folk Group Concert: On Friday evening the Holy Redeemer Folk Group will perform a concert in the church at 8pm. Tickets are €10 and available from the Parish Office, Finnbee's, Tansey's Doyle's Butchers and Bray Cancer Support Centre. Proceeds are in aid of Bray Cancer Centre.

Collection For Catholic Youth Care: The annual collection for Catholic Youth Care, the Dublin Diocesan Youth Service) will be taken up this weekend at all the Masses and will replace the normal Share Collection. Catholic Youth Care supports and services youth work and youth ministry throughout the Dublin Diocese and through its various services and programmes to young people and youth groups, reaches out to many of the most marginalized youth people in the Archdiocese. The next meeting of the Bray Cualann Historical Society - the local history society for Bray & North Wicklow - takes place on Thursday November 15th in the Bray Chamber of Commerce House, 10 Prince of Wales Tce.,Quinsboro Road, Bray, when Des Byrne will present his lecture ' Wire Ropes and Skipping Ropes ' which will have some stunning images of Bray and the surrounding area. All welcome - contribution €4.
