Blast from the past pupils!
Past pupils of St. Thomas' Community College in Bray who graduated in 1986 got together for a reunion party at the Koo nightclub in the Martello recently.
Many of the former students had not seen one another for the 27 years since their Leaving Cert, and there was a great turnout on the night of more than 200 people.
They came from far and wide to catch up with one another, with visitors coming from Cardiff, Mayo and Wexford, as well as plenty of those who remained living locally.
It was described by one of the organisers Liz Plunkett as 'a great night' and she said they definitely plan on doing it again.
The reunion came the same year as the news that St. Thomas' future as a secondary school is over.
The facility will remain as a college, and students currently attending secondary school will remain there, County Wicklow VEC announce this year that the school will ultimately close due to low enrolment numbers.
