The show included a display of dahlias, sweet pea, summer flowers and shrubs, fruit and vegetables and a plant sale.

There were prizes galore to be won, and best perennial flowers went to Neville and Patricia Irvine.

The popular junior categories were excellent and many local children grew fantastic floral displays for entry.

Nical Coveny presented Eva White with a cup for her prize winning rhubarb, while Niall was proud to present his wife Catherine Coveney with a cup for her sweet pea exhibit. Catherine is principal of St. Laurence's National School in Greystones.

The best cherry tomatoes were grown by Bray couple Jim and Noreen Lynch, while John Markham's onions came up trumps.
