SPRING is just around the corner, and floral artist Carol Bone will be at Powerscourt on March 13 to provide inspiration.

She will demonstrate arrangements of spring flowers including daffodils, tulips, roses and more.

Carol Bone lives in Wicklow, 'The Garden of Ireland' and was brought up with a love of gardening, horticulture, art and design. After a successful gardening career, Carol qualified as AOIFA (Association of Irish Floral Artists) demonstrator and teacher. She has since demonstrated extensively in England and Ireland and represented Ireland in the International Demonstration at the World Show in Boston in 2011. She has won the coveted Best in Show award at the AOIFA National Competitions and many other prizes over the past 25 years.

The event will take place at the garden pavilion on March 13 at 10.30 a.m. Admission is €5 including tea and coffee.
