Lisa Haynes reveals how to work see-through style and maintain your modesty 

On paper, the trend for see-through clothing sounds too showy and scary to even contemplate. Put it into practice, however, and transparency has the potential to become one of this summer's chicest looks - yes, really! The trick is to remember that sheer clothing doesn't have to mean baring all. It's about comfortably showing skin well within your limits. Think peekaboo tactics that still look perfectly demure. The sheer aesthetic was seen gliding down the international runways in a variety of delicate designs. Alexa Chung unveiled a masterclass in transparent chic wearing an Erdem dress to the recent Met Gala. This is definitely a look you need to follow the rules with, though - with clever styling tricks that flaunt a subtle flash of flesh without really exposing anything at all.

 

Transition Years hold Podcasting 

Transition Years had a Podcasting workshop on Thursday 18 April with Joe, who has a very successful live podcast about football. The students learned that podcasting came from a combination of the words 'ipod' and 'broadcasting'. The students were encouraged to make their podcast about anything that interested them. The podcast included the TY4 Freak Show where the presenters and guests discussed sleepwalking, night terrors and being possessed as mediums
