COLAISTE Chraobh Abhann in Kilcoole hosted student and teacher visitors from their Comenius partner school Wieselgrensskolan, in Sweden, last week.
The visiting Swedish students stayed with host families and joined their Irish host students in school each day.
On Thursday evening, students took part in a concert to celebrate the core theme of the schools' partnership, music.
A group performing traditional songs was followed by a solo from Cian Gallagher of Coláiste Chraobh Abhann.
Cian is through to the semi-final of the All-Ireland Schools Talent Search and will be perfoming in DCU's Helix Theatre in coming weeks.
Cian's performance was followed by Irish dancers, by baton twirler Cia Walsh, a classical violin solo by Saoirse Yuan and finally the school choir.
On Friday morning the students performed a concert at Kilcoole Primary school.
The Kilcoole Sixth class choir sang followed by the Swedish and CCA choirs.
The conclusion of the concert was a 'Big Sing' where all the choirs joined together to sing 'Dupa-dap-da.'
During their visit, the Swedish visitors also got a chance to play camogie and hurling, and take part in metalwork, home economics and Irish dancing.
On Saturday evening, everyone went bowling.
Sunday was spent with host families and the visitors departed on Monday morning.
Special thanks was paid to Ms. Armstrong, Ms. Walsh, Mr. Kennedy and Ms. Doyle for their work in preparing for the visit and Ms. Armstrong for her preparation of the musical performances.
