Hannah Masterson from Bray and her mother Louise launched a brand new radio series for children called 'Nora agus Dora' to coincide with the one-year anniversary of RTÉjr.

The series is available on the RTÉjr app which is free to download, online and on RTÉjr radio on Sundays at 11 a.m.

It is a fun, educational and energetic 10 part series for young children, where they can learn new vocabulary and enjoy exciting and catchy musical numbers.

Nora and Dora explore various topics and encourage audience participation. They test the listeners in the 'Guessing Game' round and conclude by travelling to the imaginative 'Land of Spraoi.'

'It was my first application to the BAI so I was delighted it was accepted and backed by RTÉjr,' said Hannah.

'Myself and my mum Louise co-present and play the characters Nora agus Dora. It works very well as we are both theatrical, musical and fluent in Irish.

'I scripted it and we composed the songs together. it was nice to be fully hands on across the board and see a project through from beginning to end.'

Hannah and Louise (pictured below) run Junior Musicals in Bray and their students make up some of the 500 children that have been involved in RTÉjr programming over the past year.

Hannah has been teaching for over 10 years and has an MA in broadcasting and a degree in Irish and music.
