Summerfest continues in Bray this week and large crowds are expected as locals make the most of the sunny weather.

The seafront is a hive of activity with a KidsZone stretching out on the Southern side of the seafront. Youngsters can unleash their excitement with a mixture of attractions including inflatables, floating Zorb balls, action and adventure jungle gyms and plenty of high energy entertainment.

There's a vintage funfair at the northern end of the seafront which is also sure to delight.

This new look funfair comes with a refreshing change to pricing offering more bang for your buck with the Super Summer Special giving the opportunity to access 10 rides for only €15 during the week.

At the weekend thousands are expected in Bray for the annual airshow which takes place on Sunday. This is Ireland's only free air display and is now in its eighth year. Spectacular aerobatics will be the order of the day from beach parachute jumps from the Black Knights Defence Forces Parachute Team to The Blades as they perform a series of technically demanding and crowd-thrilling manoeuvres. With plenty to keep everyone busy in the air and on the ground, Live Music, Parachute Routines, Food Markets, Military and Aviation Displays.

Practice day is Saturday from 12 noon while the show proper takes place on Sunday at 3pm.

Spectators are strongly advised to use public transport services as parking restrictions will be in place.
