Full house for light-hearted tribute to popular Sean

The late Sean Madden was remembered fondly with laughter at the Harbour Bar last Thursday night.
The monthly 'Hardy Har' comedy club at the Bray pub was held in Sean's memory, with members of his family attending on the night.
There was widespread sadness when Sean (23) died earlier this month in a tragic car accident. He loved to laugh, was a big supporter of the club and a great friend to many of the club's followers. Resident MC and organiser Adam Burke said that it felt fitting to dedicate the evening to Sean's memory. The night included performances by headline act Eric Lalor, as well as Adam himself, Ashlee Bentley, Cian McGarrigle, Robbie Farrell, Alan Hurley and more. It was a full house for the night of comedy with standing room only and a great night of fun for everyone who attended.
The forthcoming September gig will be Adam's iconic birthday show 'Burkey's Birthday Bash' with two great headline acts – Michael Mee and Gar Murran – as well as a selection of up-and-coming support acts. It will take place upstairs in the Harbour on Thursday, September 25, at 9 p.m. with free admission and birthday cake included.
