Festival returns on Good Friday
The BD Festival in the breathtaking grounds of Glendalough House, Annamoe, returns this Good Friday for its tenth anniversary.
While pubs will all have their doors shut, attendees to the festival are invited to bring along their own beverages, as long as no glass is brought on to the farm.
Down the years the festival has really come into its own after starting from humble beginnings on a farm in Kildare.
Some of the acts set to appear include Nightmares on Wax to festival favourites Smash Hits and new act RobotRock who mash up Dance music's finest and greatest anthems to Buffalo Soul who will play those infectious Bob Marley rhythms at sunset.
Across the venue's grounds, BD Festival hosts interactive and immersive art installations. This year, for the first time, there will be an aerial and acrobatic show in the Forest Stage, hosted by Toast and Wah-Wah Club.
The festival food market will also feature an array of top class food operators, serving everything from Mexican food to crepes.
