The Greystones music collective known as The Universal Funk Orchestra continue their monthly live tribute to classic albums with Neil Young's Harvest. Performers will include Mia Parson and Charlie Lansom on vocals, with Stuart Crampton, Garvan Gallagher and Paul Byrne in the band.

Healing Mass

Where: St. Kevin's Parish Church, Laragh

When: Saturday, September 7 at 7 p.m..

All denominations are invited to the healing mass with Eddie Stone. All those who have experienced the loss of a loved one, those who are suffering from depression or feeling helplessness or who may be suffering ill health are invited to attend. Contact Mary on (087) 9819420.

Fundraising Night

Where: Kenny's of the Harbour Bar, Arklow

A Fundraising night for the restoration of the Kynoch Explosion Memorial will take place in Kenny's of the Harbour Bar in Arklow. There will be music from Tony Davitt and local historian Pat Power will give a talk about the memorial. Tickets for the event cost €3. Michael O'Connor Art Exhibition

Where: Arklow Visual Arts Centre

The exhibition, entitled 'Michael O'Connor - A Retrospective: Portraits, Nature and the United States' is the second instalment of Michael's display. The first, 'Arklow Past and Present', premiered during the Sea Breeze festival to public acclaim. The exhibition will be open from 9.30 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.

Babble for Babies

This arts and crafts extravaganza will include work by over 30 exhibitors. Greystones and its environs is home to an impressive number of top class artists, photographers and crafters, all diverse and all enjoying making a living from their creative work.
