CATCH the He(art) at the Mermaid Arts Centre will feature four artists who had come together to celebrate Bealtaine.

The Bealtaine Festival is about celebrating creativity and takes place across Ireland for the month of May each year.

Curator Michelle Browne has invited four artists, Particia Hurl, Mary Kelly, James King and Therry Rudin, to come together over the month of May to explore their motivation to continue making work in later life.

Catch the He(art) offers this group of artists the time and space to reflect on their ways of making art in older age. There will be a discussion with the four artists at Mermaid Arts Centre, chaired by curator Valerie Connor, on May 16 at 5.30pm. The discussion is open to the public and all are welcome. Admission is free of charge.
