FILMMAKERS could get the chance to get their work televised with the Signal Short Film Fest 2014.

Run by Bray-based Signal Arts Centre, the festival is now in its third year and showcases independent short films.

They are now accepting submissions and all films will be judged by an in-house panel.

The 10 short-listed films will be screened in the Mermaid Arts Centre on Friday June 6 2013 and 3e will show the winning short film later in the year.

The top three films will receive hand-crafted trophies by Tony Clarke as well as vouchers from Filmbase and Cine-Electric.

Films should be no longer than 12 minutes and should be on DVD with a €5 entry fee. The deadline is 5 p.m. on Friday April 25.

For an application form and further details go to www.signalartscentre.ie.
