TEENAGE heartthrob Justin Bieber enjoyed some Wicklow scenery last weekend at the Ritz Carlton Powerscourt as he kicked off his European tour.
The 18-year-old was staying at the luxury hotel as he performed two sell-out shows at Dublin's O2.
He stayed there previously in March 2011.
A Bray taxi driver reported bringing some Beliebers from the Dart station to the Ritz Carlton on Sunday.
'They did see him but he didn't get out of his car and he didn't speak to them,' said the driver, who brought the girls back to catch the train.
'They were going to the concert,' he said.
Some of the 18-year-old's young fans camped out at the O2 for over 24 hours in order to get in to the venue ahead of the posse amid the latest bout of 'Bieber Fever.'
Justin found time to enjoy himself during his stay, dropping in at city venues the Grafton Lounge and Everleigh Gardens over the weekend with his entourage.
Flanked by a team of six burly security guards, Justin was in the Grafton Lounge until around 1 a.m. on Saturday before going to Everleigh Gardens there there were plenty of fans eager for a glimpse.
Bray man Garrett Brady of Hotspots.ie said that Bieber's DJ Tay James took to the decks and played for a while at the Grafton Lounge.
