M-FACTOR got off to a great start last Thursday night at the Martello, with five local acts battling for their place in the next round.
Newly formed Bray four-piece ' White city' kicked off the night with a great version of Kings of Leon hit Pyro, followed by Mic Christopher's Heyday.
Next up brother and sister act David and Hannah Bridgeman's set with guitar and violin proved a big success with the judges and the crowd.
Louise Dempsey took to the stage with an energetic set including Lady Gaga's Primadonna Girl.
Daniel Carey went down a treat when he performed his version of Glen Hansard's Academy award winning Falling Slowey. Last but not least was Kim Acres who did a last minute acapella set to wow the judges.
Next Thursday five new hopefuls will battle it out for a place in the next round of the contest.
