Couple's lucky escape as fire rips through Newcastle home
Fire units from Wicklow town and Greystones battled a blaze which took hold of a Newcastle home for over two and a half hours.

Put hospital on M50!
Mary Fogarty Bray area parents gathered at the office of Minister Simon Harris last Wednesday morning to object to plans to locate a new children's hospital at the site of St James's Hospital in Dublin. Members of the Connolly For Kids group said that they would prefer the 145-acre site at Connolly Hospital just off the M50 beside Blanchardstown.

Mary Fogarty 'This cannot happen, it will be disastrous for our country,' said north Wicklow woman Sarah Gibson-O'Gara, who attended a protest in Bray last week objecting to the proposed site of a new children's hospital in Dublin.
